Hey. Do you know a youth in grade 8 to 12 who loves photography? Then please let them know about our Youth Workshop and Photography Contest. Contest closes this Friday September 23rd at midnight PDT.
The Youth Program is part of PPOC-BC’s PHOTOGraphie Festival and is a fabulous opportunity for youth to gain some skills and put their images to the test.
The top 18 images will be printed and exhibited in the PHOTOGraphie Gallery Exhibition, November 4-6 at the Anvil Centre in New Westminster.
Each finalist will receive:
- a $50 Pix Portal gift card and the winner an additional $150 gift card
- Four tickets to the Gallery Exhibition Opening Night – Friday, Nov 4.
- One ticket to the Keynote Speaker – Sunday, November 6th.
- A finalist certificate presented at the PHOTOGraphie Awards Ceremony – Saturday, Nov 6.
- The printed copy of their image provided by Technicare.
One of the 18 finalists will be the Grand Prize winner and receive a Nikon Camera, to be presented at the Awards Ceremony.
